36" Colorful African Trade Bead Necklace, Antique Trade Bead Necklace

Description: This 36" necklace has so many different and interesting beads; it is like wearing a work of art! Some of the beads include rare and beautiful antique African Trade Beads in different shapes and sizes with some matching, antique Venetian Millefiori beads in different shapes and sizes, Hill Tribe fine silver disc beads, Hill Tribe Fine Silver imprinted beads, vintage red and blue striped Chevron African Trade beads, cobalt blue glass crow African Trade beads, yellow African Trade Beads, a cobalt blue glass feather Trade bead, red coral beads, blue Turquoise Discs, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise nuggets, several amazing ornate vintage sterling silver beads, and a large antique "crumb style" African Trade bead. There is also a small sterling silver peace charm on this necklace. The clasp is a sterling silver hook with a leaf and flower design. It is so pretty that it doesn't have to be placed at the back and can be worn at any position you wish. If you would like a different type of clasp or would like the necklace to be longer or adjustable, please feel free to send me a convo. The beads are strung onto high grade jeweler's wire that is virtually unbreakable. All silver beads are either fine silver or sterling silver. (I never use silver plated.) All African Trade beads were purchased from a reputable importer and are considered "Fair Trade." This necklace measures approximately 36" in circumference and can be doubled. It can also be worn as a bracelet and can go around a 7" wrist approximately four times. If you have a smaller 6" wrist, it will go around five times. The process of making the Millefiori African Trade beads is extensive and labor intensive. "Millefiori" in Italian means "a thousand flowers." If you know about African Trade Beads, you know that finding beads that match is very difficult these days. These beads are likely over 100 years old and yet in wonderful condition. However, please expect to see minor chipping here and there at or near the end of a bead or two. This is common due to their age and doesn't detract from their beauty and attests to their authenticity. I don't, however, use beads with what I consider to be major chipping.
