They stand about 18 inches tall and they have about a 4 1/2 inch base. I know that these have been in my family since the 1960s because I see them in photographs from the 1960s in my grandmothers living room. They may be much older. These are really cute and of course they are a pair that should be kept together. At some point, I think my brother named them Johnny and June because he loves Johnny Cash.
