Clean embossed cover boards illustrate a ship at sea with signs of scuffing and bent spine tips. Some luster remains to the gilt lettering on the spine. Frayed corners. Course cut, thick leaves brown from age. Inscription at front page in cursive ink, stating the history of its gifting from their live-in piano teacher (see photo). No other marked, missing, loose, torn, or creased leaves. Binding good. Looks lovely on a bookshelf of other classic literature.
