Description: A strand of 15 translucent ruby red faceted and elongated glass beads manufactured as African Trade beads in the early 1900s. The red beads were highly desirable in trade. The beads measure 1 3/8” long and 1/2” wide. The hole size is 1 mm. The necklace is 26" long and weighs 138 grams. There are a few small chips and some surface scratches due to age.
