Just for context: One of the most infamous photos of Chief Sitting Bull shows him wearing a skull and bones cross and there are many historical photos of these crosses being worn by numerous figures of this same time period. The cross Measures 4" inches by 2"inches. This is a decent size cross that displays well, whether hanging around your neck, or in your display with your collection. Although you can find these crosses at times, this Crucifix specifically was acquired on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana at trading post with two small one room buildings. The man who ran it was named Preston if I recall correctly. This was an old trading post and was on the Flathead Indian Reservation. As for the beads, these are true antique blue prosser trade beads. I do not recall where I acquired these, but they were purchased separate and added too the crucifix at a later time. The beads show patina upon close inspection but are otherwise in immaculate condition. Both items are guaranteed old and authentic. I hesitate to sell the beads, as they are a Beautiful and pristine set of authentic blue prossers, however, they really make this set complete and have been that way for about 20 years now, so I am leaving them together.
