Antique SOCONY No. 1 Oil Lamp Brass Pedestal & Marble Base Late 1800’s RARE

Description: Antique likely late 19th century SOCONY oil lamp with brass pedestal and marble base. There are bubbles in the glass and a square nut on the bottom as testaments to the age of this really cool piece. Burner is marked “No 1 SOCONY” and the wick turner says “SOCONY made in USA” As expected with age, this has some imperfections- I took pictures of every side so be sure to look thoroughly at all the photos before bidding. Marble base has chipping especially on the edges. Brass pedestal has deterioration of the finish, discoloration and small dents. Glass looks like it has 2 cracks on the bottom by the base, I cannot feel them on the outside and they are not very noticeable because they line up with the decorative lines. There are flea bites on the glass too. Burner has some discoloration and deterioration in the finish as well.
