Description: Antique Silverware Wooden Box with Corbin lock. No key. (Corbin was American lock company established 1849 in Connecticut). I would dated it 1880-1910? Pre-owned. 12” x 12” x 4”. Antique hardware. Wood looks like mahogany. Has scratches; needs cleaning and touching up (I would not strip it, but it is not up to me now). Box is lined up with silver color cloth which has visible wear. Bottom panel has crack, paper is peeling off. Movable parts inside. It is beautiful, old, American piece.
