Description: This is a really cool piece from Big Thunder mountain. It was from a really cool gift shop display. It was part of the gift shop, this particular piece was not for sale. It was a display for gold nuggets. You could buy nuggets but this particular nugget was the only one in this amazing display. So this display is one of a kind. It measures about 4 1/2 inches tall. This came from one of the Orlando area shops that sells the Disney stuff. It is made of wood, plexiglass, and whatever the gold nugget is made out of. I think Fool's gold. Whatever it is, the gold itself is definitely metal. The plexiglass display is all one piece. Is all attached together. The Nugget and the plexiglass and the wood are all attached. The plexiglass does have some scratches and such on it but that of course is to be expected as it was a display.. The display is definitely a high quality display. A thicker plexiglass with a larger wooden base. Very different from something that would have been sold. It's hard to see in the photos but again, this isn't a type of piece that was sold. It was a gift shop display. Everything is attached together so the gold nugget does not come out of the display. Also included is the very cool concept artwork of Big Thunder mountain. Of course it is a copy but it's a high quality reproduction of a concept art painting for the attraction. Very cool.
