Description: Up for sale is this CANBERRA MRAD-113 Personal Radiation Detector Monitor with holster. With batteries inserted and CLR/TEST button pressed it goes and passes self-test. However this unit has a problem: Some elements on LCD screen exhibit intermittent operation, probably bad contact inside. Because of this problem this detector is being sold AS IS, for Parts or Repair ONLY, and no returns for any reason. That was the extent of the tests I was able to do, as I don’t have any radiation source. Probably will need calibration. Battery compartment shows no evidence of leaking batteries; batteries are not included. Please see pictures.
