Description: Zenith rechargeable AM/FM radio features a cool hide-away dial, brushed aluminum trim, collapsible carry handle, swivel/retractable antenna, charging stand etc. Performance of this little radio is outstanding across both bands after some fidgeting with the AM/FM switch, it could use a puff of compressed air when you swap the batteries. Fully charged, it will play for days if used intermittently. Cosmetics are very nice except for some minor blemishes and basic signs of light use. The small (LED) charging indicator on the stand is burned-out but may be replaced. To make it portable you will need to buy three AA rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries. The original spent Zenith cells will also be included. We used it while listing today with no problems after figuring out the charging stand and manipulating the AM/FM switch. It was a bit difficult to get it to sit proper on the charging posts and make good contact so we poked a folded paper towel between the stand and radio and it worked perfect for the rest of the day. For the AM/FM switch you’ll figure it out, it’s just a bit sensitive.
