Description: An exceptional specimen of Fluorite with Octahedral Galena from the Northern Lights Pocket, Diana Maria Mine, Frosterley, Weardale, County Durham, England. The beautifully zoned Fluorite almost entirely covers a bed of snow white Druzy Quartz, which in turn, is covering a first generation of yellow Fluorite. The Fluorite's exhibit great color and luster. A fine coating of Druzy Quartz can be found sprinkled across the backside of some of the Fluorite's. Several lustrous octahedral Galena crystals, a rarity at this location, are scattered throughout the Fluorite. Highly UV reactive. 8.8 5.4 4.0 cm Check out my other items!
