Description: DESCRIPTION: This vintage 1950's handkerchief is GORGEOUS! It features appliques in white in all 4 corners on a cotton purple cloth which is scalloped and has a hand rolled hem. Nice monogram letter initial "J". It measures 13 1/2" and is one-of-a-kind. CONDITION: Unused and excellent. There are no tears, pinholes or stains or breaks in the edging. Freshly laundered to spruce up from years of storage and ready to use. HISTORY: I specialized for over 25 years in handkerchiefs until about 5 years ago when I decided to take a break as I focused on an embroidery business I own. Now I have decided it is time to liquidate all the thousands of vintage handkerchiefs I have stored as I prepare to retire. I have many unique and one-of-a-kind monogrammed and holiday handkerchiefs embroidered on vintage hankies. I also have other types of handkerchiefs.
