Description: Please read carefully as this dress has been altered and I want you to be happy with your purchase, with no surprises. Women's size 0 to 00 Sherri Hill floor-length jewelled, backless, fit-and-flare formal in a vibrant royal or lapis blue. Original price was $870. Worn two times. Model is 5' 6", weighs 108 pounds, and is wearing 3" heels, to give you an idea of fit. The dress has been altered by a professional tailor, and as is could fit a size 00. With the alterations to the straps and a hook removed, which would be a matter of snipping some threads, it's more like a 0. It has been shortened and hand-hemmed with a reinforcing mesh strip to give the bottom a nice flared shape. It also has had the back shoulder straps partially sewn together at the tops of the shoulders to snug up the bust; these threads can be removed. Shown in photos 17, 18 and 19. Please note that the photo showing the back of the dress was taken before this alteration was done to the shoulder straps, so it looks a little different. The X-shaped strap on the back connects at its center with a metal hook, and there is a short zipper with 2 metal hooks in the middle of the ruched lower back. Our tailor added the second hook, about an inch above the zipper top, to snug up the waist a bit. It could easily be removed. Shown in photo 15. Dress is fully lined in blue, with padded cups. The ribbon loops for hanging have been cut out as shown in photos 16 and 17. There is faint light brown discoloration in a couple areas of the bottom hem where the dress touched the ground. I've carefully gone over those areas with a soft brush and they are barely visible - I tried to show the discoloration in the last two photos but it's hard to see.
