Description: Retired Inge-Glas®️ hand-blown, -painted and -decorated, silvered glass strawberry ornament distributed by Old World Christmas®️. Unusual variant with a thick coating of metallic green glitter completely covering the four-sepaled green calyx and opaque yellow glitter achenes (seeds) on the vibrant red, dimpled skin. Has the Inge-Glas trademark “Star Cap”: a metallic gold cap stamped “MADE IN GERMANY” with a 5-pointed star hanger. No tags. Measures approx. 2 1/4" h (w/o hanger, 2 5/8” w/ hanger) x 1 1/4” width and weighs .2 oz. Found wrapped in tissue with a small frosted or sugared plum (listed separately) in an OWC Inge-Glas ornament box (see pics). Both ornaments were probably purchased in 1999 or 2000 and used one or two years. They have been stored with other Christmas decorations (also being listed) for the past 20+ years.
