I purchased this ruby as rough directly from the prospector who dug it while visiting North Carolinas Mines in 2004. I faceted this ruby into a an oval faceted single cut with good proportions and a good cut grade. Bright vivid red color with pink overtones. Near eye clean semi-translucent clarity. Measures 7x5.5 MM with a weight of 1.00 carats. This ruby has not been treated or enhanced in any way. You will receive the exact ruby in the photos.
