Description: Seeds with printed germination guidelines. This plant is a hemi-parasitic herbaceous annual plant that gains some of its nutrients from the roots of neighboring plants. It grows to 10-20” inches tall, with opposite, simple leaves, with a serrated margin. The flowers are yellow, produced on a terminal raceme. Yellow rattle is used to create or restore wildflower meadows, where it maintains species diversity by suppressing dominant grasses and the recycling of soil nutrients. The seed is sown thinly onto grassland from September to November - to germinate the following spring, the seeds need to remain in the soil throughout the winter months. The rare plant will reseed and thus make more plants the next season. Zones 4-9. Note: Seeds leave our premises fresh and within reasonable germination / growing expectations, however, rare and exotic seeds may come with challenges. Basic instructions are included. No refunds or replacement on seeds. Your Business is appreciated!
