Description: Victorian chatelain clip with hook made of brass with sterling silver plating. Definite loss of plating on the higher relief areas, which show the brass base metal, but not unexpected condition for its age. The hook portion on the back appears to be all base metal and not brass or sterling plated. Measures 2" long and just over 1" across at the widest point.
