Description: This Vintage 50s Weaver KV 2-3/4-5x 1" Rifle Scope is in good, clean condition overall and but shows expected signs of age and wear from use. The scope is well marked by Weaver and clearly indicates production took place in the El Paso, Texas sometime before 1960. All hardware is clean and appears to function as you would expect however no adjustments have been made and the scope has been left exactly as found. One of the adjustment-knob covers has been lost. The blued finish is in good condition but wear can be detected on most surfaces. The glass surfaces appear clean and clear, free from any noticeable serious scratches or other damage. The view through the scope is mostly clear considering age and a post-style reticle is present. It was difficult to capture a good, sharp image looking through the scope and the photograph included in this listing does not accurately reflect the degree of clarity present. Also of note, there appears to be an internal yellow-colored filter installed on this scope. The Weaver Detachable Mounts are both marked, clean and appear to function exactly as you would expect though they have been left exactly as found.
