Description: A vintage salt glaze studio pottery teapot by, we believe, Patrick Dressler of Iowa circa 1950 to 1980 per The Marks Project. It has an impressed D stamp on bottom. The teapot has a drip salt glaze on the top of the tea pot that is similar to the glaze on some of Jane Hamlyns pottery pieces. On the bottom of the teapot is a classic plain salt glaze. The flying saucer shape is reminiscent of the MCM era.
