Description: This is a vintage necklace featuring handmade Venetian wedding cake style glass beads and sommerso style beads. I have bought and sold a lot of Venetian beads and necklaces but have never seen a necklace like this. Some of the beads are styles / shape combos I have also not seen before. There are 13 fancy Venetian beads accented by long black geometric beads, faceted glass beads and opal glass that originally had a pearl finish. The clasp holds securely. This necklace and beads are in great condition for their age with wear as expected. This necklace has not been cleaned and would benefit from a careful cleaning. I also recommend considering rewiring it, at least the parts showing green. Please view and zoom all pictures as they are part of the description. The necklace is about 37 inches long. Larger round central bead is 14mm.
