Description: VTG 1970s MIKE FRANKLIN CUSTOM FIXED BLADE BOOT KNIFE W/SHEATH MINT 4” blade, 8 3/8” overall. Never used, or carried. Light patina visible along the blade. A rare and highly collectible piece in this condition. Bone scales, 4 pins. Stamped “Franklin” and “072” on the backside of the ricasso. Based upon the knives included with this Franklin blade, we believe this to have been made in the 1970s. Mike Franklin made his first knife in 1969. He started HAWG Knives in 1994 after a pig hunt in Texas along with the slogan "Knives With An Attitude". Mike is retired in Florida and only makes knives on a limited basis.
